About
Welcome to the 37 North Project home page. However you got here, thank you for visiting my site. This site is mainly a compilation of all the things that I do outside of my main focus in life, finishing graduate school, with some emphasis on my passion for photography. I have set up a photo gallery with the many documented adventures I have taken with my friends over the past few years. Check out the music page for selections of my favorite music and of my favorite movies. Also, check out the gear page for a list of equipment I swear by when tackling any of my adventures from mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, camping, and even photography. I have a page dedicated to some useful links that will help get you started if you are interested in learning more about any of the many things I do. If you have any questions at all you can contact me here. Don't forget to sign the guestbook (coming soon) so I know you stopped by to visit my site. And always check back for updates to the site, such as the photo gallery and music page.
Any free time I have is usually spent outdoors hanging out with my friends and enjoying what mother nature has to offer. But, sometimes I do get time to update this site, in between school and play, and I really appreciate any time you spend browsing through the many adventures documented here within these pages. I will constantly pursue new and exciting endeavors to display original material on the site and enjoy any feedback, positive or negative, about how site content is displayed.
This site is mainly about my love for the outdoors and how much I enjoy spending my time in the great beautiful state of Arkansas. I am very grateful to be living in Arkansas and thank God everyday for giving me such an awesome group of friends, a loving family, and a great place to live. As can be seen from the photo galleries, many accounts have been documented over the past years displaying our fondness of the outdoors. As with my love of the outdoors, I enjoy photography very much. I try to document as much of the adventures through photography as I can so that others can see the beauty and grace that God has displayed upon us in the great world.
Other than the outdoors, the rest of my time is presently spent studying to obtain my Master's Degree in Education, focusing on Technology Education. I am attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering in May of 2005. I plan on graduating by the fall of 2007 and thus finally entering the real world to become an adult. But until then, I will enjoy my days of living as a professional student at school and an adventurer in the outdoors. |

History
When people think about history, they usually have a notion of an era that has taken place a long time ago. Like the history of our fair country or the history of a religion, but thinking of a history of just being a few years old is a harder notion to grasp. But you must remember that an event must start at some time in order to gain any kind of history in the first place. Even though this website is very new and ever evolving, a history is being made constantly that shows the progression of how a site about practically nothing can evolve into something great. And over time, maybe that growth will blossom into something magnificent and bold. What is one of the most important things about history? It is that we learn from it and realize what mistakes don't need to be made again for the future.
To help show the slight progression that has taken place thus far in terms of site content and layout, check out the time table of the first launched site to the newest site that you are viewing today:
